About the Artist
Internationally renowned for his “quicksilver virtuosity” (ArtsATL.com), Joshua Bell
is a classical music superstar who consistently gives exciting, not-to-be-missed
performances.
His distinctive sound is “beautiful, round, focused and unfailingly in tune, and he
lavishes it in equal measure on all the music he plays” (The Washington Post). “His
main virtue [is] an elegant style full of long, singing phrases…He’s simply one of the
best there is” (New York Classical Review).
A phenomenal artist, “Mr. Bell doesn’t stand in anyone’s shadow” (The New York
Times) and “will be the one remembered 50 years from now” (The Strad).
Bell will be joined on stage by Peter Dugan, acclaimed multi-genre pianist, who has been lauded by the Los Angeles Times and San Francisco Chronicle as “stunning” and “fearlessly athletic.”
