Description

The Escher String Quartet, which has received acclaim for its profound musical insight and rare tonal beauty, will be joined by Boris Giltburg, a pianist lauded across the globe as deeply sensitive, insightful, and a compelling interpreter.

Giltburg offers Beethoven’s visionary final sonata, and the Escher String Quartet presents Bartók’s harmonically complex third quartet. Concluding with the epic Brahms F-Minor Quintet, often called the crown of his chamber music.

“Giltburg’s singing line, variety of touch and broad dynamic palette capable of great surges of energy.” – Washington Post
