A pianist of equal parts power and finesse, Igor Levit returns to Spivey Hall with an all-Beethoven program. The 2019 release of his complete Beethoven Piano Sonatas cemented Levit’s reputation as one of today’s foremost interpreters of Beethoven. He has described the 32 sonatas as a recorded testament to nearly half his life devoted to studying and performing these monumental works. In the years since, his interpretive insight and artistic depth have only continued to grow.
