The Fabian Concert Series makes its Spivey Hall debut with an electrifying evening of chamber music led by the internationally renowned Ehnes Quartet and acclaimed pianist Orion Weiss, joined by select McDuffie Young Artists. Curated by Amy Schwartz Moretti, Artistic Director of the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings, this program reflects the series’ commitment to artistic excellence, mentorship, and collaboration across generations.

The Fabian Concert Series makes its Spivey Hall debut with an electrifying evening of chamber music led by the internationally renowned Ehnes Quartet and acclaimed pianist Orion Weiss, joined by select McDuffie Young Artists. Curated by Amy Schwartz Moretti, Artistic Director of the Robert McDuffie Center for Strings, this program reflects the series’ commitment to artistic excellence, mentorship, and collaboration across generations.
 
Spanning classical clarity, rhythmic passion, and Romantic intensity, the program features Beethoven’s luminous String Quartet in G major, Op. 18, No. 2, two iconic tangos by Astor Piazzolla, and Brahms’s monumental Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 34, one of the cornerstones of the chamber music repertoire.
