Beethoven’s Piano Trio No. 7 in B-flat major, Op. 97, known as the “Archduke,” unfolds with expansive lyricism, rhythmic vitality, and architectural breadth, balancing intimacy with symphonic scope. The evening concludes with César Franck’s Piano Quintet in F minor, Op. 14, a work of intense emotional contrast and dramatic sweep, marked by lush harmonies and fervent thematic development.
