In a series of serendipitous events spanning years, the lives of four gifted men took an unexpected turn when they auditioned for America’s Got Talent. As Season 9 finalists, Sons of Serendip won tremendous acclaim by offering fresh interpretations of popular music.
“A lot of folks wonder what our concerts are like. It’s a mixture of storytelling, humor, and beautiful music,” lead-singer Micah told The Boston Globe, which hailed Sons of Serendip as “a classical-jazz-popgospel fusion quartet whose bread and butter is interpreting songs that move you.”
The New York Times praised Sons of Serendip’s release, Christmas: Beyond the Lights, as “alive with detail but silky beyond reason,” adding a warning: “It will make you spend money that you don’t have.”
