Day 1
Morning Peter & the Wolf Family Concert
Fun for the whole family! This delightful performance pairs the Albert Schweitzer Memorial Organ with a presentation of Prokofiev’s Peter & the Wolf.
Afternoon Organ and Friends
Inspired by Alan Morrison’s Organ and Friends, the afternoon events will feature invitational performances by community ensembles.
Evening Solo Recital featuring the AGO Taylor Competition Winner: Daniel Carroll
The Taylor Organ Competition was established in 2012 by the Atlanta Chapter of the American Guild of Organists to honor long-time chapter member, Elizabeth Abbott Taylor.
Day 2
Morning Collegiate Level Master Class
This seminar for college level organists is open to the public and will be led by Curtis Institute’s Director of Organ Studies, Alana Morrison.
Afternoon Organ Improvisation Competition
This afternoon competition specifically focuses on recognizing and rewarding excellence in organ improvisation.
Evening Concert featuring Alan Morrison
The celebratory closing performance features McGehee Organist in Residence, Alan Morrison.
